Default Cruise to check out Grass Valley racetrack near Hood River tomorrow!

I want to go check out the Grass Valley racetrack tomorrow with Northwestz.

No racing, mainly just a cruise out there to check it out.

To race, you have to have a racing certification from PIR. Reuel is neighbors with one of the owners, and we are trying to get a race day going next summer if we can get enough racers involved.

9am Saturday, meet at the Delta Park Burger King off I-5 (near PIR) then it is ~two hour drive to Grass Valley.

Hope to see some Ratsuners there!

I've been wanting to check out that track lately but no running vehicles right now so that's out of the question. I hope to hit the track on my shifterkart next year.

Guys, I totally FAILED to find Grass Valley racetrack!

The rear differential in the 260z started making some awful noises, so I had to turn back after the Dalles

Reuel made it though

I have some pics of the drive up the Columbia River Gorge, but I can't upload them right now...

Hi Lynch, that is the Dalles-California highway. Super wide road, lots of ups & downs and new pavement all the way to Mopin (inside joke ).

You go to ~3000 ft elevation in ~20 miles off I-84, so the grade isn't too too bad.
